The course is drying out considerably now though he greens and Kikuyu (is that how you spell it?) fairways are in great shape.

Ian Higgins and his greens team have been putting in a lot of extra effort to keep the course in good shape for you. They ask please, if all players can make sure pitch marks are repaired on the greens even if they are not yours and also to repair divots especially on kikuyu fairways which are easy to repair by simply “toeing” them in (using the toe end of a golf club)if you haven’t a sand bucket on board.

 

Our greens staff are making every effort to keep the 11^th tee loo clean and supplied. However there are times when people do not clean up after themselves and our staff cannot get to clean it, especially on weekends after a busy Friday or Saturday. So please everyone, keep the 11^th facility clean after you use it.

Women’s Novice Clinics – Saturday Afternoons

 

Michael Simpson has a series of clinics beginning on Saturday Feb 20 for 4 weeks from 2.30 until 4pm. These sessions will cover Full Swing, Pitching, Putting, Rules & Etiquette. The investment is only $100 for the four weeks – great value. Greater value for new members joining the Club because the $100 can be deducted from subs if a new person signs up.

Saturday 20^th: Men’s AS Robinson 4BBB Drawn Pairs. Entry Sheet in Golf Shop Foyer.

Sunday 21^st: Men’s Top Dog Qualifying.

Saturday 27^th: AS Robinson Round 2

We have a wedding scheduled for Saturday 27^th in the lounge. We will have the usual arrangements made for members to have temporary facilities downstairs. We thank you for your co-operation during such events.
